العلامة المجتهد ‎السعدي رحمه الله:

ثلاث صفات إذا اجتمع للرجل في
زوجه فإنه قد حيزت له الدنيا كلها

– صالحة في دينها، ومعاملاتها، ومطيعة لأمر ربها

– تطيعه إذا أمرها، وتنزجر عند زجره ونهيه

– تحفظه عند غيابه، في نفسها، وولدها، ومالها، وبيته.

منهج السالكين (ص١٦٧)

Shaykh Abdur Rahmān Ibn Nāsir as-Sa’dī رحمه الله said:
“If a man finds 3 qualities within his wife then he has acquired the happiness of this world:

1) She is righteous in her Deen, in her dealings, and is obedient to the command of her Lord.

2) She obeys him if he (husband) commands her, and she abstains when he advises & forbids her.

3) She preserves herself, her children, her wealth, and his home during his absence.”
