الفوائد القيّمة من مؤلفات الإمام ابن القيّم الجوزية رحمه الله

قال ابن القيم رحمه الله: جمع النبي ﷺ بين تقوى الله وحسن الخلق، لأن تقوى الله تصلح ما بين العبد وبين ربه، وحسن الخلق يصلح ما بينه وبين خلقه، فتقوى الله توجب له محبة الله، وحسن الخلق يدعو الناس إلى محبته.
[الفوائد]

Imām Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“The Prophet ﷺ combined between Taqwa of Allāh and good character, because (having) Taqwa of Allāh rectifies what is between the servant and his Lord, and good character rectifies what is between him and the creation. So, the Taqwa of Allāh brings about for him the love of Allāh, and good character calls the people to loving him.”

قال ابن القيم رحمه الله: احرص على أن تقول اللهم صلِّ وسلِّم (وبارك) على نبينا محمد
لأنَّ البركة تحصل لمن دعا للنبي ﷺ بالبركة عند الصلاة عليه، فتحصل البركة في ذات المصلي
وعمله وعمره وأسباب مصالحه،
وهذا الدعاء مستجاب والجزاء من جنسه.

Imām Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“Be keen to say:
اللهم صلِّ وسلِّم وبارك على نبينا محمد
Allāhumma ṣallī wa sallim wa bārik ʿalā Nabiyyinā Muḥammad.

Because blessings are attained for the one who supplicates for the Prophet ﷺ with blessings when sending prayers upon him. Thus, the blessing returns to the one praying himself — in his self, his deeds, his lifespan, and the means of his well-being. And this supplication is answered, and the recompense is of its own kind.”
